Kara-Skye Houston B.A., SLPA
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Kara-Skye graduated with honors from Cal State University San Marcos where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. She also went to Loma Linda University for the SLPA Preparation Program where she volunteered at Murrieta Elementary School to obtain her SLPA hours for the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
Kara-Skye became passionate about this field because she was diagnosed with an Auditory Processing Disorder in elementary school where she met the best speech therapist. The speech therapist inspired her to want to help children communicate. She enjoys working with children because it is fun and we can be silly together! She believes each child has their own form of communication that should be heard and seen.
When she is not having fun with kiddos she spends her time traveling and going to the beach with her husband!
