SPEECH SOUND DISORDERS
We can support your child's speech intelligibility through intensive and individualized therapy.
A child may have a speech sound disorder if they have difficulty producing speech sounds. Treatment methods will vary depending on the nature of your child's speech sound disorder. Speech sound disorders include: articulation disorders, phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and/or dysarthria.
We can provide you and your child with the skills to improve their language! A child may have a language disorder or delay if they are having difficulty understanding language (receptive), using language (expressive), and using language socially (pragmatics). This can be broken down into their use of sound patterns, words, sentences, story telling, and social conversations.
