Amanda Penza, M.S, CF-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow
Amanda Penza is a Speech-Language Pathologist clinical fellowwho is passionate
about supporting children and their families through individualized, evidence-based
therapy. She has experience working with pediatric clients with a wide range of needs,
including childhood apraxia of speech, autism, and other developmental delays.
Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Azusa Pacific
University, where she developed a strong foundation in child development and family-
centered care. Her clinical interests include expressive and receptive language
development, motor speech disorders, early literacy skills, and pediatric feeding and
swallowing. She values a collaborative, family-centered approach and works closely
with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to support meaningful progress
across home, school, and community environments.
Amanda has completed specialized training in pediatric swallowing assessment,
including certification in the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP).
She is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment where children
feel confident, motivated, and successful in their communication journey. Outside of the
clinic, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her family, being outdoors, staying
active through fitness, and exploring new places through travel and camping—interests
that reflect her energetic, well-balanced approach to both life and clinical care.
